Cozy Room
This project was rendered in Autodesk Maya, focusing on crafting a warm and inviting vibe through a nice balance of light and shadow. I carefully placed each light and texture to bring out the room's textures, materials, and details, creating a cozy, lived-in feel.
Chinese Tea Time
Inspired by a photo I found online, this project was a focused study to sharpen my texturing and lighting skills. I modeled and UV-unwrapped all the assets in Maya, textured each piece in Substance Painter, and then brought everything back into Maya to light and render using Arnold.
As a Chinese, I’m always drawn to creating scenes that reflect my cultural background. This piece incorporates subtle elements inspired by Eastern aesthetics—through form, color, and material choice—to bring out a sense of calm, tradition, and handcrafted beauty. I’m especially proud of the detailed surface work and how much I learned about visual storytelling through texture.

FLower Fairy
Flower Fairy is a project that allowed me to combine all the tools and techniques I’ve mastered as a 3D artist. From sculpting in ZBrush and retopologizing in Maya to creating a polished turntable and experimenting with lighting in Unreal Engine, this project was a true blend of technical precision and creative exploration. I even incorporated environmental assets to enhance the mood and storytelling, making it a comprehensive showcase of my skills.
